Welcome to our new home http://www.id-zippo.com. After a long period Zippo lovers live without a unifying container, finally arrived momentum. Moment to strengthen attitudes create a home that could become a means of communication, education, Hospitality Zippo lovers.
As far as I can see, from some 'club' or at least who called himself that way ('zippo club', 'community zippo') in essence is to sell exclusively. As far as I know, there are two communities who deserve to be called community Zippo Zippo, the Zippo in Kaskus Forum and mailing list at Yahoogroups Id-Zippo that has now been suspended animation (lasting from 22 aug 2005-20 April 2008, the last message of March 2010).Therefore, this club is expected to be a unifying scattered them, namely the hobbyists Zippo in Indonesia, by providing the appropriate portion for discussion, information, and commercial.
The first target ID-Zippo is embracing members as much as possible and redistribute the 'Zippo Fever' in Indonesian society. Therefore, the early stages of the formation of ID-Zippo is to establish a website, in order to reach Zippo hobbyists scattered throughout Indonesia. Forums shape chosen for two-way communication over the hobbyists can get closer than the information portal is a one-way. In developing the future, maybe there will be some element of a website portal that is inserted into the site ID-Zippo (articles, etc.).
During this draft, imagine there will be periods of quiet in the ID-Zippo, added a few members, inactive members, as I experienced at any other hobby forums. But I am optimistic this will continue to grow new Zippo Lovers, and the old will miss and come back to visit. During our total effort, nothing wasted.
This club is for those who like Zippo, whether it's a collector, fan, or casual user. No matter how much you've got a Zippo although probably only one, feel free to join and exchange information here or just ask.
It seems, for us it's a good club we quote a slogan from the French as a common model: Liberté, Egalite, Fraternite, (Freedom, equality, fraternity). However, We are united by the flame.
